What We Support

We’ve seen how hard rescue work can be. That’s why we aim to support local shelters and solo rescuers, and continue helping with animal care in our own neighborhood.

Animal Rescue Shelters

Across Southeast Asia, many kind and determined people care for street dogs and cats every day. They also support local families who love their pets but struggle to afford proper care.

Unless you have rescued an animal yourself, it is hard to understand how much time, money, and emotion it takes. These rescuers face that reality daily. Shelters are full. Resources are low. They need help, and we want to help.

Sterilization

Sterilising street animals is one of the biggest needs in Thailand, Bali and across Southeast Asia. In many local cultures, animals are allowed to roam freely. This often leads to more puppies and kittens being born, many of whom end up on the streets.

Without control, this cycle spreads diseases like rabies and TVT, a painful cancer passed through mating. Some shelters run mobile sterilisation clinics and teach pet care in schools, but most do not have the people or funding to reach every village. We want to help change that.

Vaccinations & medication

Vaccines and parasite treatments are vital for the health of street animals. Without them, dogs and cats can die from preventable diseases like parvo, distemper, and rabies. Rabies remains a serious threat in many countries.

Most street animals have never received basic care. Even pets with owners often go without. A single deworming tablet or flea treatment can save a life, but for many families, even that small cost is out of reach. The rescuers and shelters we want to support help provide these.

Feeding Strays

Feeding is a daily challenge. Local people, expats and rescuers do what they can with what they have. But there are too many hungry animals and not enough help.

Many go days without a real meal. They search through rubbish or rely on scraps. A full stomach may not fix everything, but for many, it is the first act of kindness they ever receive. We want to help sponsor food to these street heroes.

Not Rescuers. Just Honest People Who Care.

We’re Bee (Brenda) and Anton, former nomads who travelled around southeast Asia just before the 2020 shutdown and experienced what it’s like to rescue a sick, abandoned puppy and help a few families care for their cats and dogs when they couldn’t.

We are not professional rescuers and we are not trying to be. The work is hard and takes a toll. We just want to support the shelters and rescuers we have come to admire. They are doing incredible work and deserve a break.

Through our YouTube channel and online stores in the UK and USA, we are doing our best to grow an income that lets us give back. A large part of what we earn will go straight to the people on the ground doing this work.

You can help just by watching and sharing our videos, buying our merch, or using our affiliate links to shop for pet products. Every little bit adds up, and every bit helps.
